The Next Chapter: Defining what stays and what gets left behind
Oct 13, 2026
If every offer on your website sold out tomorrow, would you be excited about the life you’d have to live?
Maybe your next chapter has been showing up in small, inconvenient ways.
You open your website to send someone the link and pause over your own headline. Every word is accurate but somehow, the whole thing feels like introducing yourself with an old photograph.
You sit down to write a post about the work that’s exciting you now. Three paragraphs come easily. Then you start editing.
Will people understand this? Does it fit with what I’m known for? Can I talk about this when I still have clients paying me for something else?
By the time you publish, the sentence that made your heart beat faster has disappeared.
Or you’re on a client call, and something happens that you wish you could bottle. You hear the question underneath their question. You connect three things they’ve been treating as separate problems. You say something that makes them go quiet, lean forward, and reach for a pen.
That part comes so naturally that you’ve barely given it a name.
Meanwhile, your sales page is still selling the task around it.
The deliverable. The hours. The familiar service people already know how to buy.
What would change if the part they lean forward for became the center of your business?
That’s a question worth sitting with.
Especially when you’ve spent years accumulating experience, creating your own ways of working, and noticing things your clients can’t yet see for themselves.
There may be a body of work hiding inside what you’ve been calling “just how I do things.”
A process you repeat across clients. A perspective people come back for. A collection of ideas sitting in workshop recordings, voice notes, old programs, and the Google Doc you keep meaning to organize.
You can see pieces of what comes next. Making them into something coherent feels harder.
Because changing your business also means making decisions.
What stays? What gets retired? What deserves to become an offer? How do you bring your people with you? How do you make room for this work while protecting the income and relationships you’ve already built?
